The King’s School in Macclesfield

School Overview

King’s Mac is a large independent school and was founded in 1502 and remains a popular school locally. The school educates boys and girls together at prep & sixth form level and separately for the senior years.

The school is currently in the process of relocating to a proposed new-build school in Prestbury and so parents should consider how this may effect them over the next 5-10 years.

The school achieves sound academic results, which have recently been consistently good and leaver destinations are typically Russell Group.

We can also support students currently attending the school with academicĀ tuition for maths, English or science.

The King’s Macclesfield Entrance Exam 2018

The entrance exam for the school is of typical difficulty and consists of a VR, maths and English paper.
